Harriet

Hi Tracey, I just wanted to let you know how we all got on. Angus and I have a perfect little girl called Harriet Sylvia Grace. She is so calm and peaceful. I was truly surprised considering how both Angus and I were when we were newborns. I had a super birthing experience thanks to Calmbirth.

Bridget, Jake & James

Dear Tracey,

Sorry I have taken so long to contact you. My husband Jake and I attended your course on Mondays 8th and 15th of Feb and now have a amazing 4 week old boy called James! The birth didn't go completely as planned but was still incredible and joyful. I ended up being induced at 41+1 weeks and had a 16hr labour with an epidural for the final 6hrs as unfortunately I had only dilated to 5cm after 10hrs of contracting after my membranes were artificially ruptured. The calm breathing, rythmic breath and visualisation along with listening to the cd's and music that i love really helped to get through the labour pains.

Eamon's birth

Hi Tracey,

I just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for sharing the Calmbirth technique with us.

My husband Rowan and I attended your class on 19-20 September when I was 33 weeks pregnant. At the time I saw labour as a ‘necessary evil’ I needed to endure to meet my son and had only heard of the negative experiences other mothers had had with their labours and births.

Zara's Story

Zara's Story

Zara is our second child and the birth of our son was quite a traumatic event.  After planning for a natural birth with him, the labour lasted a very long 30 hours, I ended up having an epidural for pain relief and our son was eventually pulled out by ventouse delivery.  His birth definitely didn't go to plan and although I tried to look back on the event as a positive one - after all it brought our gorgeous son into the world - it did leave me completely petrified to have a another baby and give birth again.

I eventually came around and we got pregnant again, and again we planned for a natural birth.  When I was about 32 weeks pregnant my husband went away on business for a few days and while he was away he met Tracey and found out about what she did.  There was a real connection there and a feeling like we should take the Calm Birth course so a few weeks later we did.

Harper May - 1 December 2009

I was fortunate enough to experience a smooth and comfortable second pregnancy and looked forward to birthing our baby naturally through the techniques we had gathered at the Calmbirth courses we attended during both pregnancies. I had the most empowering birth with our first child Finn that my only fear leading into this birth was that it wouldn’t be as calm and positive, and if it wasn’t I would be hugely disappointed. To challenge this fear I took time out to prepare myself, mentally and physically and surrendered to whatever birthing experience I was presented with.
